I'm so sad that we had to cancel our preorder, but I'm glad that we're giving ourself the grace to not force the last half of this book and taking the time to get back to it organically. I love you my friend. 💜🐈‍⬛🦔

I love you too my friend. What a year, hey? But I’m so proud of all the awesome work you are putting out solo and with other cowriters… WISH I could be at Salem with you, Mariah & Shelly! 📖🥳😈🎃🦔

Yes, it’s true. Giving ourselves enough grace is one of life’s most challenging WIPs, isn’t it? Sending love your way xox

The fact that the muse is there in any for is a win in my book. Take your time and enjoy the journey. While I’m sad that the book is on pause I’d rather wait for you to get your mojo back than for you to try to force it. When my dad died suddenly and we were planning the funeral, the woman who was helping with arrangements said something that truly helped us. Hopefully it will help you too. She said grief is not linear, you can’t sit down with a calendar and be able to determine when your grief will be over. Grief is like the ocean waves, it ebbs and flows. Sometimes you can splash in the waves and enjoy the water, other times it’s all you can do to not be pulled under and drown. Losing your mom will never be okay, but eventually you will be able to think about her and smile and not feel that knife in your chest, and you will be able to wether the storm that is grief. Love you dear friend!

Thank you, Maycee. 😭🙏🏽🫂 This imagery really moved me. It’s true and yet so hard to remember in practice. Your gentle encouragement and support during this time is so precious to me 💙🦔💋

I know how the feral minx in a pinball machine feel like. So, take your time and do what ya gotta do. We'll always be here.

Thank you, Joseph. This year has been a wild ride, but I am thankful that at least the Muse has turned up… Even if she is determined to behave like a little minx! 🤭🎉😈
